Urban Landscape
For my Urban Landscape project I have had the pleasure of shooting on what is known as large format. This form of camera is based on the very first types of cameras. You might have seen one where the photographer needs to cover himself and the camera in a black cloth in order to see through the camera.
Project Sunshine with Dagny - London, UK
For my first ever 8 week project of uni we where set the task of finding and following an artist or an athlete for the full project. The whole point was trying to document and present their life as thoroughly as possible through 6 final images.
For my project i got in touch with the very talented singer/songwriter Dagny. A collection of images throughout the project can be viewed underneath. Since i haven't delivered or chosen my final 6, the pictures below are a few of the candidates!
Analog Photography
I have now been attending the Photography BA at Middlesex University for about a month, and so far love it! One of our photography projects is all about how images was created before the flood of digital cameras and cheap inkjet printers. For this project i have been using a Pentax K1000 which takes the old style 35mm film most of the older generation is familiar with, when they documented everything from family holidays to their kids growing up on exactly this format of film. Since i have decided to embrace every part of photography i have actually shot some rolls of medium format 120 film on my own Bronica ETRS, which makes the most amazing images. You can see these pictures below digitally because i have scanned the negatives to a digital file.
